Agile Product Visioning and Road-mapping

Agile development approaches, although product-centric, are mostly silent on how to envision a product and define its roadmap. Over the years, agile teams have been adopting traditional techniques such as Product Box and Elevator Pitch to capture the overarching goal of the product under development. Emerging techniques such as Impact Mapping and User Story Mapping provide collaborative and visual ways to work out the details of the why that lead to the product vision and the what that lead to the product roadmap. In this session we present how to exploit the synergy between these traditional and emerging techniques to produce product visions and roadmaps that lead to successful products.
